We collect absolutely nothing. Budget Planner is a client-side browser application. There is no backend database, no user accounts, and no server-side data storage of any kind.
All data you enter — income, expenses, goals, chat messages — is stored only in your browser's Local Storage on your own device.
2. Local Storage
Your browser's Local Storage is a small area on your device where web apps can save data. This data:
- 📍 Stays only on your device — never transmitted anywhere
- 🔄 Persists between page refreshes (so your budget is remembered)
- 🗑️ Can be deleted anytime by clearing your browser's site data
- 🚫 Is not accessible to us or any third party
3. Cookies
Budget Planner does not use cookies of any kind — not for tracking, analytics, advertising, or any other purpose.
4. Analytics & Tracking
We do not use any analytics, tracking pixels, third-party scripts, or monitoring tools. There are no Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar trackers on this site.
5. Third-Party Services
Budget Planner uses Google Fonts to display the Nunito typeface. This means your browser makes a request to Google's servers to download the font. Google's own privacy policy applies to that request. No financial or personal data is involved in this request.
Apart from fonts, no other third-party services are used.
6. Contact Form
If you use our Contact page, messages you submit are displayed only within your browser session and are not sent to any server in the current version of the app. This will be updated if/when we add a real contact system — and this policy will be updated accordingly.
7. Children's Privacy
Budget Planner is safe for users of all ages. Since we collect no personal data, there are no special considerations for children under 13 or any other age group.
8. Changes to This Policy
If our privacy practices change, we will update this page with the new policy and a new "Last updated" date. Since we currently collect no data, meaningful changes are unlikely unless we add optional features like cloud backup.
